Started at home,
still made at home
Somher started as one person's idea and a lot of practice in a home kitchen. It has grown since then, but not by much, and that is on purpose.
It started in our family kitchen
Somher is named after someone at the heart of our family. A mother started it, and she is the reason it got past being an idea.
The early years were mostly practice. Recipes tested, thrown out, tested again, until a few of them were worth putting our name on. Those are the ones we sell.
We are not trying to be a big bakery. We would rather make a few things properly and have people order them again.
Everything on our counter is something we would put on our own table.
