Our story
How Somher started
Somher is named after someone at the heart of our family. It began as a mother's idea, worked out at home over a lot of trial batches, until the recipes were good enough to sell to other people.
We still bake the same way, in the same kitchen. That part has not changed.

Signature Pork Empanada
A lightly sweet, crisp crust folded around seasoned pork, potatoes, carrots, raisins, cheese and boiled egg. Sweet and savory in the same bite, baked until the pastry crackles when you break it open.

Classic Egg Pie
Custard baked slow so it sets smooth, more creamy than eggy, in a buttery crust with a caramelized top. Sweet, but not so sweet that one slice is enough.
